HEY, I'M YASMINE! WELCOME!
I share tools to help you feel comfortable being YOU! I believe self-healing is important because it helps us navigate the tough stuff. And the tough stuff can keep you stuck in the past instead of finding joy where you are, and moving toward your future.
I talk a lot about ‘doing your work’ and for me it’s about being real with yourself, being real with others, and living your life exactly as you want to.
SO, HOW'D I GET IN THIS WORK?
It all started when I began dealing with severe anxiety and depression. I used to say it hit out of nowhere, but looking back it was a build up of stress, lack of worthiness, lack of boundaries, draining relationships, and having no idea what to do about it. I was a new mom, my daughter was only 1 year old at the time. My previous marriage was having significant struggles and would eventually end in divorce about a year and 1/2 later. And I’d just left the U.S. Air Force as an Active Duty member and had no plan for what I was going to do next to provide for my family.
Over the next six years, I hit some very low lows. I didn’t grow up hearing about healing, self-love, vulnerability or any conversations about taking care of your mental health. I began reading books about shame & guilt, I started going on retreats and going to therapy. Day by day, the struggles of mental health became easier to manage and walk myself through. I began to publicly share some of my experiences and slowly began connecting with women going through the same things as me. I realized I wasn’t alone and started studying to teach. I always loved teaching but after my own breakthrough, I had the language and experience to help others.
And through all of this, I’m still learning. I still struggle. I know I’ve come so far from the girl who was so anxious & afraid she could barely leave the house. But that girl is still apart of my experience. And everyday I recommit to choosing joy over everything else.
And that’s where you come in.
I’m here to teach. Through the free content on my Instagram and my blog, and my services, I’ll be sharing tools to help you feel better about who you are, your experiences, and help you share your story in ways that feel right to you.
If you’ve just started your work or even if you’ve been doing this for some time, my goal is to help you live your purpose by choosing to do what feels right for you, with love.
HOW YOU CAN WORK WITH ME
Each workbook is created to teach you how to be more of yourself in all situations. A mix of guidance, journal prompts, + exercises, each workbook walks through the process of doing your work.
Being Healed is a 7 week course for people on their self-healing journey. You’ll learn tools that will help you gain clarity, transform your relationships, + live your life purpose.
With my digital workshops, you can learn via video or audio while you’re doing the dishes or at work! Each workshop is a different theme. Also, you can get details about my in-person workshops.
